Lifecycle Marketing Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will own and scale Kudoboard's customer lifecycle marketing engine, focusing on email marketing, marketing automation, and revenue-driving nurture programs. As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customer journey and overall business growth.
What You'll Own
- Manage the full customer email marketing calendar, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Build, optimize, and scale lifecycle journeys including welcome, onboarding, activation, upsell, retention, and win-back campaigns.
- Rebuild and improve customer marketing emails to enhance engagement and drive revenue.
- Create and manage email newsletters aimed at increasing product adoption and customer retention.
- Design and execute nurture programs based on product usage, segmentation, and behavioral triggers.
- Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
Marketing Email Automation & Systems
- Manage email marketing platforms, with a preference for SendGrid experience.
- Build automated workflows, segmentation logic, and performance dashboards to track campaign success.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure alignment on lifecycle touchpoints.
- Maintain data cleanliness and alignment between CRM and email platforms.
Product & Revenue Campaign Support
- Assist with product marketing campaigns and launches, providing lifecycle communications that support go-to-market strategies.
- Create messaging aligned with product positioning and ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
- Partner with paid, sales development representatives (SDRs), and content teams to reinforce omnichannel marketing efforts.
Content & Website Support
- Contribute to website content and key marketing pages, supporting SEO and conversion-driven initiatives.
- Help maintain messaging consistency across lifecycle and web channels.
Measurement & Optimization
- Build and monitor a comprehensive lifecycle dashboard to track campaign performance.
- Run A/B tests across subject lines, messaging, calls to action (CTAs), and nurture flows to continuously improve results.
- Link lifecycle efforts directly to pipeline and revenue metrics for clear accountability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation.
- Strong experience with email marketing platforms, preferably SendGrid.
- Proven ability to build automated nurture flows and lifecycle journeys.
- Experience managing email calendars and campaign planning.
- Deep understanding of segmentation, personalization, and behavioral triggers.
- Experience in B2B SaaS and/or product-led growth environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with a self-starter attitude and high sense of ownership.
