About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Level 4 Mission Assurance Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Mission Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our defense systems. This position is based in Northridge, CA, and will require you to work onsite.

What You'll Do

  • Implement Quality Assurance Program Plans for flight and development hardware programs.
  • Work as part of an integrated product team to meet program requirements and ensure mission success.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve mission assurance issues.
  • Provide oversight of production processes and support activities.
  • Execute Safety and Quality Assurance programs ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Analyze trends and execute improvements on key metrics.
  • Represent Mission Assurance at program reviews and boards.
  • Ensure Risk Management activities are executed according to standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience with a Bachelor's or 7 years with a Master's in Quality/Mission Assurance Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Proficient in Root Cause Analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with AS9100D Aerospace standards.

Nice to Have

  • APQP experience.
  • Experience in EMD programs.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Current/Active Secret clearance.
