What You'll Do

  • Lead product experimentation initiatives by implementing advanced statistical testing methods and enhancing our analytics platforms to deliver actionable insights.
  • Drive the product strategy by owning and evolving core metrics related to activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Utilize causal and inferential analytics to understand user behavior, developing lightweight machine learning models that identify key drivers of retention and growth.
  • Set high standards for analytical methods and best practices within the team, mentoring analysts and demonstrating how to transform raw data into compelling narratives.
  • Champion a product-first mindset, ensuring that every project adds value and iterating quickly based on real-world feedback.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or roles focused on experimentation.
  • A degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in statistical modeling and applied machine learning techniques.
  • Experience in building and validating models for lifetime value, churn, or retention, translating predictions into actionable product strategies.
  • Strong judgment regarding model complexity versus business value, with the ability to work with messy, real-world data.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive approach to working in fast-paced environments, aligned with our value of acting on approximately 70% evidence.
