About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Quant Trader remote position at Coinhako. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a talented individual with a strong focus on high-frequency trading (HFT) and market-making systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior traders and contribute to the development of quant trading strategies that deliver high Sharpe ratios and returns.

What You'll Do

  • Assist senior traders in designing and developing quant trading strategies, including market-making algorithms.
  • Collaborate with the trading team to manage risks in a 24x7 market environment.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize automated trading systems as directed.
  • Help maintain relationships with internal teams, counterparts, and liquidity providers (LPs).
  • Provide management with insights on trading activity and market trends.
  • Deliver market and trading insights to the trading team to enhance decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quantitative trading capacity, including roles in banks and funds.
  • Interest and familiarity with the crypto market is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in Equities, Options, FX, Fixed Income, and Futures is preferred.
  • Previous experience in high-volume and volatile environments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong ownership of work.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a sense of urgency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with algorithmic trading platforms.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of programming languages used in trading (e.g., Python, R).
