About the Role

We're hiring a Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team at BeaconFire Inc. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while contributing to innovative software solutions. As a Junior Java Developer, you'll be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Implement business logic, validations, and workflows to meet project requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Integrate with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB using JPA and Hibernate.
• Handle exception management, logging, and error handling to ensure application reliability.
• Utilize Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC for backend development.
• Implement Spring Data JPA for data persistence and work with Spring Security for authentication and authorization.

Requirements

• Strong background in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with Java programming and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with database integration using JPA/Hibernate.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Entry-level experience is acceptable; we welcome recent graduates.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
