About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Trainer for Computer Science to join GFN GmbH, a leading IT-focused educational provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Trainer to work remotely while making a significant impact in the field of education. As an IT Trainer (remote), you will conduct engaging classes on various topics including software project management, object-oriented programming, and web development, both in-person at our locations and online. Your expertise will help shape the future of IT education.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct in-person and online training sessions for adult learners in various IT subjects.
  • Develop and implement training materials and methodologies in alignment with the IHK framework.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of educators and participants to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support students in their learning journey and provide feedback on their progress.
  • Engage in the development of new training concepts and methodologies to improve course offerings.
  • Manage class schedules flexibly to accommodate both in-person and online formats.
  • Provide professional support for content and methodological questions to enhance teaching quality.
  • Network with other trainers to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification.
  • Willingness to obtain training suitability certification (AEVO).
  • Experience in adult education, particularly in funded educational programs.
  • Current certifications, such as OCA from Java Version 8 SE.
  • Proven experience in programming and IT concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage learners effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with online teaching platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
  • Previous experience in curriculum development.
