IT Auditor - Remote Position at Binance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join our team at Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem. As an IT Auditor, you will play a crucial role in identifying key technology and data risks across our global operations. You will be responsible for developing the annual audit plan and executing audits to evaluate the adequacy of risk management and control for technology and cyber-related risks. What You'll Do

• Identify key technology and data risks at both group-wide and local levels, considering relevant strategies and business environments.
• Support the development of the annual audit plan based on identified key risks.
• Plan, lead, and execute audits, ensuring compliance with established schedules and quality requirements.
• Collaborate closely with domestic auditors and the CISO to maintain the IT audit universe.
• Provide subject matter expert (SME) support on technology and cyber risks to the broader team.
• Stay updated with emerging risks and best practices in risk management.
• Draft audit reports and facilitate discussions regarding issues and remedial action plans with management.
• Monitor the timely completion of agreed remedial actions by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technology audit.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required for coordinating with overseas partners.
• Proven experience in auditing IT aspects, including governance, risk management, and cybersecurity.
• Experience in digital forensics or investigations is highly preferable.
• Sound understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud computing.
• Knowledge of risk-based auditing frameworks like ISO27001, NIST, and SOC2.
• Ability to apply analytics and develop a data-driven internal audit approach.
• Relevant professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in payments and international transactions.
• Ability to review code (Python, Java, SQL) and develop data analytics solutions.
• Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders such as Principal Engineers and CTOs.
