About the Role

Join U-Glow as an Intern in Web Development, where you will gain hands-on experience in creating and maintaining websites using WordPress and Elementor. This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies, including generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), to develop user-friendly software solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Support in creating and maintaining websites with WordPress and Elementor, ensuring they are visually appealing and functional.
  • Adjust layouts, colors, typography, and design elements according to corporate design specifications.
  • Insert and maintain content including texts, images, videos, and icons to enhance user engagement.
  • Perform minor OnPage SEO adjustments such as optimizing meta tags, headings, and images for better visibility.
  • Test and ensure responsiveness of websites on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Assist in error analysis and minor bug fixes to improve website performance.
  • Contribute to customer acquisition efforts by collaborating across departments.

Requirements

  • Currently studying web design, computer science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, having created your own online-visible pages.
  • High self-motivation and ability to work in a structured manner.
  • Very good proficiency in both German and English.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with basic graphic design principles.
  • Knowledge of additional web development tools and technologies.
