What You'll Do

  • Liaise with company suppliers’ and vendors’ QA/QC representatives and third-party testing agencies.
  • Coordinate the collation of client-supplied welding, fabrication, material, and test requirements.
  • Assist with verbiage for requests for approval, information, and deviations to project requirements.
  • Update and develop applicable procedures as required.
  • Evaluate RFQs and RFPs for quality management requirements and develop appropriate verbiage for submissions.
  • Coordinate preparation for authorized inspection agency audit reviews.
  • Monitor filler material control and use, procuring materials as needed.
  • Perform quality surveillance reporting and monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Construction trade certification or bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • Regulatory and compliance certifications based on the field of discipline.
  • Intermediate industrial construction knowledge and understanding of codes and standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with quality management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with various engineering systems and principles.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
