About the Role
We are seeking an Industrial IT and Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team at BBA Consultants. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to exciting projects in the telecommunications and networks sector. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our operations in the Sept-Îles region, collaborating with our teams across Canada.
What You'll Do
- Design, install, and maintain IT/OT infrastructures including networks, servers, virtualization, and wireless systems.
- Identify client needs and develop new business opportunities or ongoing projects.
- Establish project scopes and draft proposals to meet client expectations.
- Serve as a technical reference and ambassador for the team, ensuring project success.
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and promotional materials such as blog articles and technical papers.
- Lead and coordinate technical teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients, promoting BBA services effectively.
- Utilize your professional network to generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or DCS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, automated production engineering, telecommunications, or network administration.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in IT and telecommunications engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in English and French for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Experience with information and communication technologies is an asset.
- Experience with operational technologies and consulting is also a plus.

- Certifications in relevant fields.
- Experience in project management.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in telecommunications.
