About the Role

We are seeking an experienced In Transit Security Specialist to join our elite team at Zelh. This remote role is crucial for ensuring the security of high-value shipments and maintaining our reputation as a reliable partner in the logistics industry. As an In Transit Security Specialist, you will work closely with a dedicated team to protect the integrity of cargo and uphold customer standards.

What You'll Do

• Apply DeSpir’s In Transit Security processes rigorously to ensure the safety of shipments.
• Proactively identify and resolve process breakdowns while keeping customers informed.
• Coordinate with various business units to maintain shipment integrity.
• Handle data entry and confirm key milestones in the In Transit Security process.
• Monitor security through multiple systems for quick response to customer requests.
• Manage risk with a focus on security best practices and handle escalations of suspicious activities.
• Update customer portals based on specific requirements.
• Work effectively in a remote environment, contributing to a supportive team culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security and compliance or customer service.
• At least 3 years of logistics experience.
• Knowledge of TSA and GDP practices is preferred.
• Ability to multitask under pressure with extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in conflict resolution and emotional intelligence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams.
