About the Role

We're hiring an Assistant/Associate Product Copywriter to join Abercrombie and Fitch Co., a leading global retailer known for its commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through data-driven strategies. This remote role focuses on creating engaging product descriptions that resonate with our customers and align with our brand identity.

What You'll Do

• Write engaging and accurate product descriptions for various brands.
• Maintain consistent copy structure and voice across all product categories.
• Ensure legal compliance of product claims.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams for a seamless customer experience.
• Brainstorm unique product names and write editorial language for collections and key items.
• Work with design teams for hangtags and on-product marketing.
• Stay updated on fashion trends and competitor naming.
• Edit copy based on feedback and trends.
• Participate in team collaborations to strengthen company culture.

Requirements

• Near-perfect editing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• 1+ years of copywriting experience in retail.
• A portfolio showcasing writing ability and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously with strong time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Interest in fashion and familiarity with brand and competitors.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Teams.
