• Help patients create reasonable payment plans to facilitate timely payments.
• Research and resolve patient billing inquiries efficiently.
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
• Prepare accurate files for collection agencies when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations in all interactions.
• Deliver exceptional patient service throughout all interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in medical billing and collections.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare coding systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while paying attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other software systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
