About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IBM AS/400 Consultant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in RPGLE and CLLE to support various IT consulting projects. As an IBM AS/400 Consultant - Remote, you will work with innovative solutions and collaborate with a diverse team to enhance our service offerings.

What You'll Do

• Utilize your knowledge of RPGLE and CLLE to develop and maintain applications on the IBM AS/400 platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Implement data integration processes and ensure data quality across systems.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members.
• Participate in Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
• Engage in system integration and technical support for various software projects.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an IBM AS/400 Consultant or similar role.
• Proficiency in RPGLE and CLLE programming languages.
• Experience with IBM DB2/400 and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Knowledge of AI consulting tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
