About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanical Technician Level 2 to join our team at Concentric. This HVAC Mechanical Technician Level 2 role offers the opportunity to work remotely while delivering and installing HVAC telecommunication equipment across various customer sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable and sustainable facility power solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver and install telecommunications HVAC equipment at customer sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Review mechanical and technical manuals to understand project requirements and troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with Technical Support and Customer Service to expedite repairs and resolve issues.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project standards are met, proactively identifying potential quality issues.
  • Travel to other branches or sites as required for product installation, removal, or repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate job updates effectively.
  • Exercise high time management skills to ensure greater than 90% time billable to customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • 3+ years of HVAC mechanic experience is essential.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment and towing trailers using service trucks is preferred.
  • Certification from a technical school focused on Journeyman HVAC/Mechanical is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Strong desire to deepen expertise in HVAC diagnostics and service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft TEAMS platforms.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Digital Variable Multi (DVM) and refrigeration test equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly to both internal and external customers.
