HSQE Advisor - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated HSQE Advisor to join our team remotely. In this role, you will support the HSQE Manager in achieving Primech Building Services' Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) objectives. You will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices while promoting a proactive safety culture across all operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist the HSQE Manager in implementing effective HSQE strategies across various contracts and operational activities.
- Provide practical HSQE guidance to operational teams, ensuring safe working practices and high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying non-conformances and recommending corrective actions.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of Primech’s Integrated Management System.
- Prepare clear reports and recommendations for the HSQE Manager based on performance data and site findings.
- Deliver HSQE inductions and training sessions to promote awareness and best practices among operational staff.
- Collaborate with operational managers to identify competency requirements and training needs.
- Maintain a strong presence on-site to reinforce safe working practices and engage with teams regularly.
Requirements
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in a health, safety, environmental, or quality role, preferably in building services or construction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear reports and deliver engaging training sessions.
- High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Full UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle for travel to operational sites.
Nice to Have
- Experience in facilities management or construction-related sectors.
- Knowledge of relevant HSQE legislation and industry standards.
- Ability to analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
