HRIS/Paylocity Specialist - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HRIS/Paylocity Specialist to join South College as a remote team member. This HRIS Specialist role focuses on managing and optimizing HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency across our growing institution. As a key player in our HRIS initiatives, you will contribute to transforming the lives of our students and enhancing our diverse range of healthcare programs.
What You'll Do
- Manage and optimize HR information systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Analyze HR data and generate insightful reports for decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR and IT departments to implement new HRIS technologies and upgrades.
- Conduct training sessions for HR staff on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
- Stay updated on HRIS industry trends and recommend enhancements to improve system performance.
- Develop business cases for HRIS enhancements and present them to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of Paylocity and other HRIS software solutions.
- Engage in innovative HR technology initiatives to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in HRIS is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS management.
- Experience with HRIS software, particularly Paylocity, is preferred.
- HRIP and SHRM certifications are advantageous.

- Experience in higher education HRIS management.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
