What You'll Do

• Provide strategic guidance and high-level support to management on all HR products and services.
• Advise stakeholders on HR policies and procedures, completing a wide array of personnel actions.
• Support and coach on common and moderately complex HR issues.
• Utilize HR systems and databases to accurately input information and report HR data and metrics.
• Manage a high volume of assignments, adapting quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience for HR Generalist 1 or 5 years for HR Generalist 2.
• Demonstrated experience with HR theories, principles, and practices.
• Technical expertise in HR systems (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Strong relationship management skills to effectively coach and provide training to a broad audience.

Nice to Have

• Professional certification (PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of LANL organizational structure, mission, and goals.
• Active DOE Q clearance.
