About the Role
Join ITHAKA as an HR Benefits and Operations Intern - Remote, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to expand access to knowledge and education worldwide. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to engage with benefits administration and operations, contributing to projects that enhance the employee experience. You will work closely with the WLC Benefits & Operations team and gain valuable insights into core HR functions in a mission-driven organization.
What You'll Do
- Assist in benefits administration and WLC operations, providing essential support to the team.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving the employee experience.
- Support the audit of HR-related information in the HRIS.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work 40 hours per week during the 12-week internship starting June 1, 2026.
Requirements
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources or a related field.
- Coursework or prior internship experience in HR or business administration.
- Strong interest in HR, particularly in benefits and operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in HR-related roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
