Head of Operations - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Operations to join our team in a remote opportunity with Berwick Partners. In this role, you will be accountable for effective, compliant, and continuously improving business processes through leadership of the Operations team in a complex and fast-paced professional services environment. As the Head of Operations, you will ensure operational excellence by embedding robust business processes, driving change adoption, strengthening business engagement, establishing meaningful metrics and KPIs, and ensuring regulatory and compliance obligations are met.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Operations team, ensuring performance and capability development.
• Oversee operational delivery, stability, and continuous improvement across the business.
• Manage change initiatives impacting business operations.
• Establish and maintain operational metrics and KPI frameworks.
• Engage with business stakeholders for prioritization and demand management.
• Implement training strategies and enhance digital literacy across the organization.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and audit readiness.
• Escalate and resolve significant operational issues and risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operating model design and business operations management.
• Knowledge of change management frameworks and adoption techniques.
• Expertise in business process management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Strong performance management skills, including metrics and KPI frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance principles relevant to our sector.
• Experience in learning, capability development, and digital literacy practices.
• Familiarity with governance, assurance, and audit requirements.
• Ability to lead technology-enabled change through digital and data concepts.

Nice to Have

• Experience in stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Proficiency in designing and sponsoring training and capability uplift initiatives.
• Ability to influence without authority and manage competing priorities.
