Head of Lifecycle Marketing - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Head of Lifecycle Marketing to join our team at TextNow. As a Head of Lifecycle Marketing remote position, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our lifecycle marketing into a core growth engine that drives engagement, retention, and sustainable revenue. You will lead a high-impact team and collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Brand, and Performance Marketing to ensure our customers understand, adopt, and continue choosing TextNow.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy from onboarding and education through engagement, monetization, retention, and winback.
- Define and execute a lifecycle roadmap aligned to company and marketing OKRs.
- Translate customer insights and behavioral data into measurable programs that drive long-term value.
- Redesign onboarding to improve clarity, trust, and early habit formation.
- Develop a scalable segmentation framework rooted in lifecycle stage, intent, and behavioral signals.
- Create and own a disciplined lifecycle experimentation roadmap to drive testing across messaging, offers, segmentation, and value propositions.
- Lead lifecycle strategy across email, push, and in-app messaging, setting standards for frequency, targeting, and customer experience.
- Measure incremental impact and downstream behavior, not vanity metrics.
Requirements
- 10 to 12+ years of progressive experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing.
- Proven leader who has built and scaled lifecycle strategy in a high-growth, consumer, subscription, or app-first business.
- Demonstrated track record of materially improving activation, engagement, retention, and lifetime value at scale.
- Deep expertise in segmentation, behavioral targeting, experimentation design, and incremental measurement.
- Strong analytical skills with a command of cohort analysis and customer behavior insights.
Nice to Have
- Experience with lifecycle infrastructure and marketing systems design.
- Familiarity with tools like Braze or similar.
- Experience in a fast-scaling environment.
