About the Role

Woven by Toyota is seeking a highly experienced Head of Legal to join our team in a remote capacity. As the Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing legal functions related to our rapidly expanding global investment platform. What You'll Do

• Lead negotiation of commercial agreements related to investments.
• Manage all legal aspects of venture investments.
• Provide guidance on governance and board matters.
• Oversee corporate policies and compliance matters.

• Build and scale legal infrastructure for a growing platform.
• Engage with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Support M&A and liquidity events for portfolio companies.
• Translate legal risks into business-focused recommendations.
• Manage the legal budget and external counsel relationships.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in venture capital or private equity.
• Significant experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Experience with cross-border transactions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
