What You'll Do
- Assist in maintaining statutory records, such as registers of directors and shareholders.
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, including filing annual returns.
- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting corporate governance documents.
- Manage shareholder communications and handle queries effectively.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, regulators, and the board of directors.
- Support corporate transactions and provide general administrative assistance.
- Prepare for Annual General Meetings and draft agreements as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate in law, commerce, finance, or corporate governance preferred.
- Strong administration skills and familiarity with corporate governance principles.
- Previous internship or experience in a corporate legal or governance role is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
