About the Role

We are seeking a talented German and English to Uzbek Linguist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will support translation and quality control for medical devices, ensuring high-quality translations that meet industry standards. What You'll Do

  • Translate and/or post-edit content from German and English into Uzbek, focusing on medical device documentation.
  • Perform Non-Linguistic Quality Control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Handle various content types, including In Vitro Diagnostics, Pharmacovigilance, and Patient-facing documents.
  • Deliver a consistent output of 1,000–2,000 weighted words per week.
  • Utilize your proven translation or MTPE experience in Life Sciences / Medical Devices to enhance the quality of translations.
  • Maintain native-level proficiency in Uzbek while demonstrating an excellent command of English and German.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of CRO terminology.
  • Utilize CAT tools effectively to streamline the translation process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in translation or MTPE within the Life Sciences / Medical Devices sector.
  • Native-level proficiency in Uzbek.
  • Excellent command of English and German.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of CRO terminology.
  • Experience with CAT tools is required.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation.
  • Experience working in a remote team environment.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
