GCP DevOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are currently seeking a GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance our cloud operations. Your contributions will drive efficiency and improve deployment processes while ensuring the highest security standards.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Utilize GCP services like Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, and more.
• Automate deployments with scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient cloud solutions.
• Monitor and log cloud infrastructure using tools like Stackdriver and Grafana.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong expertise in GCP services, including compute and storage solutions.
• Proven experience in automated deployments and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of security practices in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Certifications in GCP or DevOps.
