Full-Time Teller - Community-Focused Banking

About the Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Teller to join our community-focused banking team in Chatham, Illinois. This is an in-office position where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in our customers' lives every day. As a Full-Time Teller, you will be the friendly face that our customers look forward to seeing, handling financial transactions with precision and providing top-notch service.

What You'll Do

• Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
• Promote our range of innovative banking products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and balance cash drawers.
• Identify cross-sale opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required; six months to one year of related experience in cash handling or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain banking products and resolve customer concerns.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in handling transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn banking software quickly.
