About the Role

What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, baggers, and customer service clerks to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Assist the Department Manager in evaluating performance and providing feedback to associates.
- Conduct interviews, training sessions, and performance appraisals for team members.
- Implement customer service training programs to enhance associate skills and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high service standards.
- Perform audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in community engagement initiatives to promote Harris Teeter's brand and values.
- Assist in managing the accounting office and perform clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or retail management.
