Full Stack Engineer - Autonomous System Cockpit

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team and build the cockpit for our autonomous system. This Full Stack Engineer remote position will allow you to create a Command Center that empowers executives to monitor live experiments and understand the rationale behind AI decisions. You will own the entire layer where humans interact with machines, ensuring that our platform transitions from a white-glove service to a fully self-serve solution.

What You'll Do

• Build the Command Center: Architect the primary web interface where executives monitor performance, including real-time dashboards for live experiments and audit logs for every trade.
• Engineer the Slack Operating System: Develop deep Slack integrations that serve as the primary interface for our users, creating workflows for anomaly alerts and interactive approval flows.
• Develop Generative Analytics: Integrate LLMs to power on-demand analysis, enabling users to ask natural language questions and receive instant visualizations.
• Design for Explainability: Create UI components that explain AI decisions, visualizing complex data into intuitive Rationale cards.
• Lead the transition of Pepr from a white-glove service to a fully self-serve platform, ensuring confidence in handling P&L for large brands.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building full-stack web applications, with a focus on user experience.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript on the frontend, and Python or Node.js on the backend.
• Strong communication skills, able to present complex technical details in an accessible manner.
• High agency in identifying and fixing friction points in user experience.
• Experience with Slack App Development is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing patterns for LLM integration and low-latency AI experiences.
• Familiarity with building or maintaining component libraries.
• Experience in startup environments, building products from zero to one.
