Full Stack Developer - FinTech Solutions

About the Role

We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Industry FinTech (IFT). This Full Stack Developer remote position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of private capital markets through technology and automation. As a fast-growing company headquartered in Miami, we are expanding our operations in Quito, Ecuador, and we are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to innovate and grow.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that are reliable and efficient.
• Build responsive, high-quality frontend components that enhance user experience.
• Implement custom integrations using APIs, webhooks, and event-based logic.
• Architect and maintain structured data flows between systems to ensure seamless operations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to industry standards.
• Implement logging, error handling, retries, and monitoring for production reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to foster a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and deployment processes to streamline releases.
• Debug production issues and perform root cause analysis to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience using modern languages and frameworks (e.g., Python with FastAPI or Flask, Node.js with Express/NestJS, or similar).
• Experience building APIs and service interfaces (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Experience working with databases and data storage systems (SQL and relational databases, or similar).
• Experience building frontend applications using React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or similar frameworks.
• Experience consuming third-party APIs and building integrations.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and structured data flows.
• Experience deploying and operating services in modern backend environments.
• Experience deploying services in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience building integration layers between multiple systems.
• Experience working with CRM or operational platforms.
• Experience working in startup or fast-scaling environments.
• Experience with architecture documentation and system design practices.
