Senior Full Stack Engineer - AI Marketing SaaS

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team at PhillyTech.Co. In this remote position, you will design, build, and maintain scalable systems and features across the stack, contributing to our award-winning AI marketing SaaS platform. This role emphasizes backend development (70%) with a focus on frontend (30%), allowing you to work hands-on across various technologies.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable full-stack features using an API-driven architecture.
• Develop and maintain distributed systems with a focus on availability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to plan and deliver high-impact projects.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with a strong emphasis on long-term scalability.
• Integrate AI into development workflows, including coding, testing, and monitoring.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
• Take ownership of features from design through production and ongoing optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade software systems, ideally in SaaS environments.
• Strong experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and scalable infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel, along with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Solid experience working with modern front-end frameworks, preferably Angular, with the ability to contribute across the full stack.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and leveraging AI to support development workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
