About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Telephone Interpreter (German-French) to join our team at Seprotec, an international translation and interpreting agency. This remote role offers the opportunity to work on a long-term project focusing on railway technology. As a Freelance Telephone Interpreter, you will provide technical support over the phone, ensuring clear communication between German and French speakers.

What You'll Do

• Provide telephone interpretation services between German and French speakers, focusing on railway technology.
• Ensure accurate and effective communication during technical support calls.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality during all interactions.
• Utilize your native-level proficiency in either German or French to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German or French, with knowledge of Swiss German preferred.
• Experience in telephone interpreting or a related field is a plus.
• Freelance status is required for this position.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
