Freelance Synopsis Reviewer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Synopsis Reviewer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Wordbank. In this role, you will ensure the quality of show, episode, and TV synopses for a major online streaming client. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and flexibly while contributing to exciting content.

What You'll Do

• Review synopses for accuracy and clarity, ensuring they meet the client's standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement when necessary.
• Maintain a consistent workflow, reviewing 100-150 synopses per week.
• Respond quickly to feedback from the team to ensure timely revisions.
• Utilize tools like JIRA for tracking and managing your review tasks.

Requirements

• Must be a native English speaker with strong attention to detail.
• At least 2 years of experience in proofreading or editing.
• Experience in content review for entertainment or streaming is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Willingness to provide a portfolio or work samples upon request.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Experience working with global brands or in a marketing localization agency.
