We are seeking a Freelance Senior Linguist - Marketing & Life Sciences to join our global team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for translating and copy editing content across various subject areas, ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients in the marketing and life sciences sectors. What You'll Do

  • Translate and copy edit content in marketing and life sciences, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
  • Utilize CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with a global team of linguists to deliver high-quality multilingual content transformation services.
  • Engage with diverse content types, including marketing materials and user interface content.
  • Support the global business journey of Welocalize clients by providing expert linguistic insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in translation and copy editing.
  • Expertise in English (US/GB) and native-level proficiency in Sepedi.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools and a working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • A translation degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand cultural nuances in the target language.
