Freelance Senior Art Director - Creative Campaigns

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance Senior Art Director to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for the conception and design of integrated advertising campaigns, managing the creative process, and ensuring all work is strategically and creatively on point. As a Freelance Senior Art Director, you will independently conceptualize, develop, and design content based on strategic direction on digital tactics.

What You'll Do

  • Work with senior art staff and copywriters to develop concepts and layouts for client, in-house, and new business projects.
  • Prepare detailed layouts and storyboards that align with project goals.
  • Ensure timely turnaround on assignments while managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial and project management departments to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Lead entry-level designers and art directors, allocating personnel as needed for project success.
  • Monitor the overall quality of agency creative output to maintain high standards.
  • Present creative concepts in client meetings as requested, showcasing your innovative designs.
  • Maintain a digital portfolio of creative samples that demonstrate your expertise and style.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-8 years of creative/creative management experience with a digital agency.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in Figma is a plus.

  • Experience with video editing software.
