Freelance Product Designer for Physical Products - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance Product Designer for Physical Products - Remote to join our innovative team at Paired. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of helping romantic couples stay in love by designing engaging physical products that complement our successful app. This is a remote freelance position open to candidates in the USA, UK, or EU, allowing you to work flexibly while making a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Ecommerce team in a distributed setup to create manufacturable products from sketches.
• Design packaging and unboxing experiences that enhance user satisfaction.
• Conduct user testing and prototype development to refine product concepts.
• Engage in ongoing projects with multiple ideas in the pipeline, contributing to the product vision and roadmap.
• Work 20+ hours per week, managing your time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product design, specifically for physical products.
• Strong eye for detail in packaging and unboxing experiences.
• Ability to create manufacturable products from initial sketches.
• Experience with user testing and prototype development.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with a distributed team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing products for the consumer market.
• Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
