Freelance PR Professional for DACH Market - Remote

About the Role

We’re seeking a talented Freelance PR Professional for the DACH market to join our dynamic team at Gotyu Underwear. This role is fully remote and allows you to leverage your extensive PR experience to make a significant impact in the lifestyle and fashion industry. As a Freelance PR Professional, you'll be responsible for driving our public relations efforts, focusing on securing unpaid media coverage across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

What You'll Do

• Utilize your strong journalist connections in lifestyle, fashion, and women’s media to secure unpaid media coverage through print, digital, TV, and radio.
• Develop compelling PR angles and pitches centered around period underwear innovation, female entrepreneurship, and sustainability in fashion.
• Write engaging blog or editorial content for our website, enhancing our brand's voice and reputation.
• Build and maintain real relationships with editors and journalists to ensure effective media outreach.
• Manage brand voice and reputation confidently, ensuring alignment with our company values.
• Proactively engage with media contacts to secure Tier 1 media placements, showcasing your proven track record.
• Provide monthly reports on PR activities and results, demonstrating the impact of your efforts.
• Work independently while collaborating with our internal team to align on messaging and campaign strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of PR experience, particularly in the DACH market, focusing on fashion, lifestyle, or beauty sectors.
• Fluent German speaker and writer (native or near-native level) is essential for this role.
• Basic copywriting skills for blog posts or founder content are required.
• Proven track record of securing Tier 1 media placements; please include a portfolio or examples of your work.
• Strong relationships with journalists and editors in the DACH market.
• Proactive, self-sufficient, and results-driven approach to PR.
• Confident in managing brand voice and reputation across various media platforms.
• Experience in developing compelling PR strategies and pitches.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the sustainability sector or with innovative fashion brands.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies to complement PR efforts.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
