What You'll Do

  • Teach technical English tailored for IT professions, focusing on key areas such as hardware, data storage, operating systems, and networks.
  • Utilize effective teaching tools and learning strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Deliver lessons on web applications, enterprise software, software and hardware installation, and IT security.
  • Guide students in presenting IT products and managing email correspondence in a professional context.
  • Provide support for technical and didactic questions, ensuring students receive comprehensive assistance.
  • Engage in professional exchanges with other instructors to foster a collaborative teaching environment.
  • Plan and prepare for classes well in advance, ensuring a smooth teaching experience.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate participants with varying knowledge levels, promoting competency development.

Requirements

  • Completed studies or training in foreign languages or relevant further education.
  • Pedagogical-didactic proof, such as a Teaching English As A Foreign Language qualification or trainer qualification IHK.
  • Enjoyment in teaching and a passion for supporting learners in their educational journey.
  • Teaching experience in adult education is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge and a high affinity for IT concepts.
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages).

  • Experience with online teaching platforms and tools.
