About the Role

Welocalize is seeking a Freelance French Life Sciences Translator - Remote to join our team and work on ongoing translation projects for leading pharmaceutical providers. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled translator to contribute to important healthcare materials while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

• Translate and proofread Life Sciences documents, focusing on investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy-related materials.
• Manage a weekly workload of 2000 to 5000 words, ensuring high-quality translations.
• Utilize CAT tools like XTM to enhance translation efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers and other translators based on availability.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience in Life Sciences translation and copyediting.
• Excellent knowledge of English and French, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in CAT tools, particularly XTM.
• A translation degree or equivalent experience in the field.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in translating clinical trial documents.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.
