Founding AI Engineer - Generative AI for Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Founding AI Engineer to join our innovative team at GenFinance.AI. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and help shape the future of finance through generative AI. As a Founding AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building our technical capabilities and deploying AI solutions that empower finance professionals.

What You'll Do

• Become an expert-level user of generative AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and Grok.
• Master Model Context Protocol (MCP) and build our library of data integrations.
• Test, evaluate, and grade AI tools for finance, ensuring they meet our high standards.
• Participate in research to help clients decipher valuable insights from AI developments.
• Create setup guides, scripts, and documentation for rapid client deployment.
• Contribute to published thought leadership content that positions GenFinance as a technical authority.
• Support client engagements by addressing technical integration questions.
• Help develop proprietary AI tools from proof-of-concept to client demos.

Requirements

• Demonstrated obsession with generative AI tools and daily usage.
• Technical ability to work with APIs and read documentation independently.
• Strong written communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Self-directed learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excitement for the challenges of a founding team role.

Nice to Have

• BSc or MSc in a related field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar).
• Experience with MCP or similar data integration approaches.
• Familiarity with finance or accounting concepts.
• Previous use or experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage, Oracle NetSuite, SAP).
• Experience producing technical content (blogs, documentation, tutorials).
