About the Role

Wilmar LLC is seeking a dedicated Forklift Picker (Cherry Picker) to join our team in Kent, Washington. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment. As a Forklift Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently picking customer orders and moving products using cherry pickers. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Operate cherry pickers to pick customer orders and move products from shipping, receiving, or storage areas.
  • Fill customer orders and deliver them to the packing area or loading dock.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with Warehouse Managers regarding stock location and changes.
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform the duties of the position.

Requirements

  • One year of order picking experience in a warehouse environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to read and understand safety instructions and work orders in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond to common directions.
  • Experience using tools and equipment such as scan guns, tape guns, and forklifts.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
