About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Finish Cell Painter to join our team at Orion Industries, a leading aerospace manufacturing company. As a Finish Cell Painter, you will apply your expertise in aerospace finishing while supporting our mission of job skill development.

What You'll Do

  • Apply primer, topcoat, Sol-Gel, and other aerospace coatings to products manufactured at Orion.
  • Complete and maintain all required specifications and testing for primer application.
  • Prepare parts for primer and subsequent coats of primer and topcoat.
  • Take apart, clean, and reassemble spray equipment.
  • Complete all forms and documents using proper AAM processes.
  • Participate in 6S, Safety, and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Work safely and utilize required PPE as necessary.
  • Model proper work ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and dress.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of experience in aerospace finishing.
  • Ability to independently mix and apply aerospace primers.
  • Experience operating painting equipment.
  • Knowledge of aerospace finishing specifications (i.e., BAC specifications).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with various aerospace coatings.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
