About the Role
We are looking for a Field Sales Representative - Remote to join our team at the National Centre for Social Research. In this role, you will engage with the public to conduct social research interviews that inform public policy and services across the UK. This Field Sales Representative - Remote position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to meaningful research.
What You'll Do
- Conduct face-to-face interviews in the community to gather valuable insights.
- Utilize a tablet to guide conversations and record responses effectively.
- Handle rejections with resilience and maintain a positive attitude.
- Work independently and manage your own schedule to maximize productivity.
- Earn based on the number of completed interviews, with a performance-based pay structure.
- Demonstrate excellent people skills and confidence in handling difficult conversations.
- Commit to at least 20 hours of work per week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Complete a DBS check and ensure you have reliable internet access.
Requirements
- Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a car.
- Basic technology proficiency, including access to a laptop or tablet with a camera.
- Willingness to complete a DBS check.
- Class 1 Business insurance is required.
- Right to work in the UK.

- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with social research methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
What We Offer

- Mileage reimbursement at 36p per mile.
