Facilities Maintenance Planner - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Planner to join our team at Liebherr. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the inspection, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle management of operational equipment and shop assets. You will ensure that all equipment remains safe, compliant, and available to support our business operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for various operational equipment including forklifts, lifts, compressors, and tanks.
• Coordinate required inspections and certifications for lifting devices and safety-related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain an accurate asset registry including serial numbers, locations, and service history.
• Track maintenance completion, inspection dates, and service intervals.
• Receive and coordinate repair requests and manage breakdown responses.
• Schedule and supervise third-party service vendors and contractors.
• Monitor equipment downtime and identify recurring issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance coordination or an industrial equipment environment.
• Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Experience using CMMS or asset tracking systems such as Fiix, SAP, or E-maint.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a leadership role within maintenance planning.
• Certifications related to safety and compliance.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for maintenance management.
