Event Coordinator - Remote Position for Luxury Wellness Resort
About the Role
We're hiring an Event Coordinator to join our team at Minor Hotels. This remote position will allow you to ensure the seamless execution of events at our luxurious Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality experiences to our guests, making this a pivotal role in our hospitality team.
What You'll Do
- Organize and oversee events requested by clients, ensuring their successful execution across various hotel departments.
- Prepare schedules and service manager assignments for each event, communicating shifts and payment details as necessary.
- Develop budgets and requests for events, ensuring that clients receive top-notch service aligned with their expectations.
- Exceed customer expectations by providing special touches and surprises that make them feel valued.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to understand and meet client requirements and expectations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel services, the company, and the destination to offer diverse service options.
- Be present and visible to clients and staff during key moments, creating valuable experiences.
- Ensure all event spaces, materials, and facilities are in excellent condition and schedule maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- A degree in Tourism Sciences or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken; knowledge of a second language is preferred.
- Experience with hotel management tools and sales techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with office automation and hotel systems is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience as an event coordinator, event manager, or head of the events department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Commercial initiative and a keen interest in achieving results.
