About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Lead to join our team at OP Labs, a leader in blockchain technology. This remote position is focused on driving the adoption of Optimism in Japan, where you will play a crucial role in building high-impact partnerships with leading Japanese institutions. As the Enterprise Sales Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of on-chain financial infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute the strategy for Optimism in Japan, acting as a General Manager.
  • Identify high-leverage market entry points such as stablecoin corridors and asset tokenization.
  • Translate protocol capabilities into compelling narratives tailored to Japanese institutional needs.
  • Originate, structure, and close high-impact partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive the adoption of on-chain wallets, stablecoins, and embedded finance SDKs.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to ensure successful integration and onboarding.
  • Represent Optimism at industry events and publish thought leadership on financial infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem players including wallets and banking-as-a-service providers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate development, ideally in Web3 or financial infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals with payment platforms or embedded finance providers.
  • Deep understanding of fintech infrastructure, including wallets, custody, and compliance tooling.
  • Familiarity with crypto infrastructure, especially Ethereum and Layer 2s.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, capable of interfacing with C-level stakeholders.
