Engineering Manager - Web3 Ecosystem

About the Role

We're hiring an Engineering Manager - Web3 Ecosystem to join Chainlink Labs. In this remote role, you will lead engineering teams responsible for building critical products that power Chainlink's decentralized ecosystem. Your expertise in people leadership and operational excellence will ensure teams deliver high-impact solutions that advance Chainlink’s mission in the Web3 space.

What You'll Do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for core Chainlink products and services used across the Web3 ecosystem.
• Drive high reliability, scalability, and quality across production systems that operate under demanding conditions.
• Partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps and influence strong product decisions.
• Balance short-term execution with long-term platform evolution, ensuring teams can move fast without compromising stability.
• Coach, develop, and retain engineers, supporting career growth and progression while fostering a healthy, engaged team culture.

Requirements

• Exposure to taking products or platforms from early concept through production adoption in a Web3 environment.
• Strong product sense, with the ability to connect engineering decisions to user needs and business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and lead teams through ambiguity and complexity.
• Clear motivation and capability to support, grow, and develop engineers at multiple career stages.
• Sufficient technical depth to guide architectural discussions and assess trade-offs.

Nice to Have

• Experience communicating effectively with senior and executive stakeholders.
• Track record of managing and developing senior or staff-level engineers.
• Experience leading teams in high-pressure or operationally intensive environments.
