Employee Relations Investigations Manager - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an Employee Relations Investigations Manager - Remote to lead a global team of investigators and enhance the strategic direction of investigative services. In this pivotal role, you will shape policies and practices that ensure ethical compliance and effective handling of employee relations cases, impacting the organization on a broad scale.
What You'll Do
- Manage a global team of investigators, providing consultation and direction for cases managed across the team.
- Develop strategies for Employee Relations Investigations based on case volumes, trends, and business needs.
- Analyze data trends and create proactive action plans for key stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Field HR to manage investigative processes and provide coaching.
- Ensure consistent handling of case outcomes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify trends and emerging issues that may require future investigative activity.
- Ensure compliance of investigators with applicable legal requirements and company policies.
- Support the development and measurement of goals for continuous improvement of investigative programs.
- Ensure investigation reports include clear and concise documentation supporting employment action.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years in investigations or similar work (security, special investigations).
- Experience leading teams.
- Familiarity with Navex/AIMs systems.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft or other tools for effective communication materials.
- Experience analyzing and utilizing data effectively.
- Field HR experience strongly preferred; Labor Relations/MFG experience preferred.
Nice to Have
- Certification in HR or investigations.
- Experience with conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
