EHS Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance and promoting a safety culture within our organization. As an EHS Specialist, you will work closely with the EHS Manager to drive continuous improvement in Environmental, Health & Safety performance across our sites.
What You'll Do
- Manage chemical risks effectively by conducting exposure assessments across all laboratories.
- Monitor individual exposure to chemical hazards and organize air control and sampling campaigns.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all chemical products and ensure proper communication regarding any changes in product classification.
- Conduct ergonomic analyses of workstations and follow up on prevention measures related to physical activity risks.
- Oversee compliance and control activities associated with regulated materials on site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry.
- Knowledge of SAP and strong Excel skills are preferred.
- Fluency in French and a good level of English (both written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience in a multinational company.
- Certifications in EHS management.
- Familiarity with ISO standards related to EHS.
