We're hiring an Ecosystem Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at GitLab. This Ecosystem Sales Manager remote position offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales and build strategic partnerships across the Alps region. What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and facilitate the involvement of GitLab team members, including sales leadership and support, to meet sales targets and ecosystem sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the GitLab field sales organization, proactively engaging with Account Executives (AEs), Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and geo leadership.
  • Facilitate territory mapping and identify new joint opportunities to drive growth.
  • Resolve route conflicts appropriately and support regional-specific demand generation activities with strategic partners.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews (QBRs) within your assigned territory.
  • Participate in annual planning within the Ecosystem organization.
  • Provide cloud-related weekly forecasts and progress reports to management.
  • Prepare presentations, territory plans, and reports as required.

Requirements

  • Experience selling software development tools and/or application lifecycle management solutions via strategic partnerships.
  • Experience selling open-source solutions and B2B sales.
  • Strong interest in GitLab and open-source software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Established personal network within the industry.
  • Results-oriented perspective and ability to use GitLab effectively.
  • Experience with Salesforce and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar sales role within the tech industry.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and solutions.
