In this role, you will translate and adapt gaming-related content for Dutch-speaking audiences, ensuring an authentic tone and voice that resonates with players. What You'll Do
- Translate and post-edit gaming-related content with precision and creativity.
- Adapt tone, style, and structure to reflect gaming culture and trends.
- Collaborate with the assessment team on testing tasks.
- Maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy across various content.
- Provide feedback for improving content relevance and engagement.
- Utilize client tools for translation and localization tasks.
- Engage with gaming-savvy audiences through storytelling.
Requirements
- Experience in gaming or creative localization is essential.
- Strong command of Dutch and cultural fluency required.
- Familiarity with gaming terminology and cultural context.
- Excellent command of Dutch and deep cultural fluency.
- Comfortable using CAT tools.
- Degree in linguistics, translation, or journalism preferred.
- Creative writing background is a plus.
- Published work on gaming platforms is a bonus.
- Ability to adapt voice and style for Gen Z audiences is a bonus.
